This policy explains what data Get Better Answers collects and how we use it.

What we collect

When you use the tool, we receive:

Your input —the platform, category, task description, and any existing prompt you provide
Your IP address —used for rate limiting only, held in memory, not stored to disk or database

How your input is processed

Your input is sent to Google's Vertex AI (Gemini) to generate an optimized prompt. Google processes this data under their Cloud Data Processing Terms, which prohibit Google from using your data to train models or for advertising.

We do not store, log, or retain your input text or the generated output. Once the response is delivered to your browser, the content exists only on your device.

What we store

Cost records —we track API usage costs (timestamps, token counts, dollar amounts) for budget management. These records contain no user content.
Theme preference —your light/dark mode choice is saved in your browser's localStorage. We never see this data.

What we do not collect

No accounts, logins, or personal information
No cookies
No analytics or tracking scripts
No email addresses (unless you choose to contact us)

Third-party services

Google Vertex AI —processes your input to generate optimized prompts
Google Fonts —serves typefaces used on this page
Cloudflare —provides CDN and DNS services

Data retention

User input and generated output are not retained by us. Cost tracking records are retained indefinitely for accounting purposes but contain no user content.

Your rights

Since we don't collect personal information or create user accounts, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions, reach out to our privacy team.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
